TI BiH organizes a conference on anti-corruption programs in public enterprises

Sarajevo, 2nd July 2018 – Transparency International in BiH is organizing a conference entitled „Anti-corruption programs in BiH public enterprises“ which will be the opportunity to present results of the research conducted under the name „Transparency of corporate reporting of public enterprises in BiH“, and to initiate discussion regarding good governance and the need to create anti-corruption programs in public enterprises.

The conference will serve as the opportunity to discuss governance, transparency of reporting and anti-corruption activities in BiH public enterprises. The first day of the conference will be devoted to the presentation of the findings on the assessment of the transparency of corporate reporting of public enterprises in BiH (index and report), and discussion on the needs and ways of developing anti-corruption programs in public enterprises. Second day of the conference will be organized as a workshop aimed at building capacities of public enterprises, at which the participants will learn more information about the guidelines of the Handbook on Combating Corruption and Developing Integrity Plans of Public Enterprises.

The conference will be held on 3rd and 4th July, 2018, at the Hotel Hills in Sarajevo, at 12.00h.

TI BiH is organizing a conference entitled Transparency and accountability of financing political parties

Sarajevo 13th December 2017 – Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) is organizing a conference entitled Transparency and accountability of financing political parties, as one of the activities related to the celebration of the International Anti-Corruption Day.

A special emphasis of the conference will be put on presenting the proposal for improvement of the Law on financing political parties, with reference to the international standards in the field of financing political parties and campaigns, and the level of following those standards in BiH.

The conference will be attended by the representatives of the relevant institutions in BiH, political parties, Central Election Commission, civil society organizations and the media in order to present the existing situation and the best practice standards. Also, the experts from the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) of the Council of Europe and from the OSCE/ODIHR will participate as panelists.

The conference will be held on Thursday, 14th December 2017 at the Hotel Europe (Atrium hall) in Sarajevo, at 10.30h. Please find the agenda attached.

TI BiH organizes presentation of the Monitoring Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy

TI BiH will present the data on the efficiency of institutions at all levels related to the implementation of measures proposed by the Anti-Corruption Strategy

Sarajevo 9th December 2017 – Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) organizes a presentation for the media at which it will present the findings of the Monitoring Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy 2015-2019.

TI BiH will use this opportunity to present the data on efficiency of institutions at all levels in regard to the implementation of measures and activities provided by the Strategy and Action Plan during the first two years of Strategy implementation.

Presentation for the media will be held on Monday, 11th December 2017, at 11.00h, at the Hotel Europe in Sarajevo.
