TI BiH is organizing a conference entitled “Prosecution of corruption and integrity of judiciary”on the occasion of marking the International Anti-Corruption Day.
Sarajevo, 9th December, 2018 –TI BiH is organizing a conference entitled “Prosecution of corruption and integrity of judiciary”on the occasion of marking the International Anti-Corruption Day.
The conference will serve as an opportunity to present the results of Prosecution of corruption monitoring for 2017-2018 prepared by TI BiH, and an interactive map as a tool that the citizens will be allowed to use in order to more easily monitor the work of judicial institutions. Also, this will be the opportunity to present the OSCE report related to the monitoring of corruption cases processing.
The Judiciary Integrity Panel will be used to discuss the current legal frameworks in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania, with special reference to Albania’s reform experience concerning the so-called lustration or the extensive re-evaluation of judicial function holders. The participants will also refer to the previous reform experiences in BiH judiciary, and consider the notion of disciplinary responsibility of judges and prosecutors.
The conference will be held on Monday, 10h December 2018, at the Hotel Bristol-Novotel in Sarajevo (Fra Filipa Lastrica no.5) at 10.30h. The press conference will be held at 10.10h. Please find the agenda attached.
