TI BiH presents the publication prepared by the attendees of the TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics

The attendees of the Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics will present their essays on corruption phenomena, participation of women in politics in our country, but will also be given a chance to participate in a panel discussion organized in regard to this topic

Banjaluka, 21st February 2018 – Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) is organizing a final event for the best candidates of the Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics that was held in four cities of BiH (Istocno Sarajevo, Zenica, Bijeljina and Bihac). TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics is a project supported by the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, through which around hundred female activists from the entire country gained basic knowledge about the harmful effects of corruption, the role of transparency and accountability in modern politics, as well as the participation and presentation of women in politics.

The attendees of the Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics will present their essays as their findings regarding the corruption phenomena, participation of women in politics in our country, but will also be given a chance to participate in a panel discussion organized in regard to this topic.

Essays of the attendees of the Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics, collected in one publication/manual, will be presented on Thursday, 22nd February, at 15.00h, in the premises of the University of Business Studies Banja Luka, Jovana Ducica 23a St.

Press conference will be held at 14.45h.
