TI BiH is organizing a regional conference related to the governance of public enterprises

Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) is organizing a regional conference entitled How to strengthen good governance of public enterprises?, which will be the opportunity for TI BiH to present the results of a survey related to the good governance of public enterprises in BiH, conducted on a sample composed of 100 public enterprises.

Sarajevo, 24th March 2018 – Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) is organizing a regional conference entitled How to strengthen good governance of public enterprises?, which will be the opportunity for TI BiH to present the results of a survey related to the good governance of public enterprises in BiH, conducted on a sample composed of 100 public enterprises.

The conference will be organized within the project named „Strengthening Good Governance of Public Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, supported by the United Kingdom Government, aimed at strengthening good governance of public enterprises in BiH.

The participants from the region will be presented at the conference, as well as the practice applied in the countries of the Western Balkans, Croatia and Turkey, which will turn the conference into a type of forum that shall be used to exchange experiences related to the possibilities for better implementation of transparency and accountability standards, and mechanisms for the empowerment of integrity and corporate governance of public enterprises.

The conference will be attended by the representatives of public enterprises, public institutions and civil society organizations from the Western Balkans, Croatia and Turkey, including the representatives of international organizations.

The conference will be held on Monday, 26^th March 2018, at the Hotel Bristol in Sarajevo, at 09.30h. Please find the agenda attached.
