Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina held a workshop for civil society organizations “How to successfully advocate?” at Hotel Jelena in Banja Luka.
The main goal of the Workshop was to familiarize the participants with the process of advocacy in more detail, with special emphasis on the socio-political context, preparatory advocacy tools, case studies and advocacy techniques. In addition, the participants of the Workshop, mainly representatives of civil society organizations, but also all citizens interested in activism dealing with topics of social importance, had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of advocacy through interactive work methods and learn how to apply advocacy techniques in practice.
During the workshop, TI BiH also presented the Advocacy Manual for associations and citizens in BiH. The manual describes advocacy techniques in a simple way, as well as “successful” cases of advocacy in the last 10 years. In addition, the manual offers tools that will help associations and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in their preparation of public advocacy campaigns.
The workshop “How to successfully advocate?” is organized with the support of Sweden.
