TI BiH will present an analysis of the impact of corruption on gender on May 27, 2020. through a publication that summarizes the views of citizens but also legal cases divided by gender.

Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) is a new publication that opens the topic of gender relations with corruption for the first time in BiH. Based on a survey of citizens on a highly representative sample and analysis of the database of the Center for Legal Aid in the Fight against Corruption (ALAC), the study monitors the different attitudes of men and women towards corruption. In addition, it deals with the attitudes of citizens about men and women officials in the fight against corruption. However, a key segment of the analysis looks at victims of corruption and how women are affected and how men are affected. The analysis also provides answers to the question of the connection between the promotion of human and especially women’s rights and a more vigorous fight against corruption.

The publication was made possible by the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in BiH, and N.E. Johanna Strömquist, Ambassador to open the webinar on May 27 , 2020 at 3 p.m. The findings of the presentation are presented by its author and founder of TI BiH, Boris Divjak, and several experts on corruption and gender participate in the discussion. Registration is possible until the beginning of the webinar via the link: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_z6fEhNzhSVOOQyqvdFXjKw , and the webinar will be held entirely in English.
