Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina has successfully completed a multi-day training program on ways of implementing the Law on the Protection of Persons Who Report Corruption in Republika Srpska.

Free trainings, whose goal is to help responsible persons in educational institutions with 15 or more employed persons to create conditions for safe reporting of corruption and provide protection to persons who report corruption, were implemented with the support of the American Agency for International Development (USAID).

In addition to providing practical knowledge and concrete steps to enable efficient handling of corruption reports, the training is focused on the protection of whistleblowers, i.e. persons who report corruption in the work environment.

The training program lasted from 19 until the 26th May 2022 in which period workshops were held in Banja Luka, Prijedor, Doboj Bijeljina, East Sarajevo and Trebinje.
