This is the first in a series of trainings and workshops under “Support to the Open Government Initiative: Proactive Transparency of Public Institutions”, funded by the UK Government. The overall goal of the project is to ensure joint action of the government and civil society in BiH in the process of building open government through the promotion of proactive transparency in the work of public institutions and strengthening their capacities.
The beginning of the trainings and workshops was marked by a short ceremony and address by Christine McNeill, Head of the Political Department of the British Embassy in Sarajevo.
Representatives of the BiH Ministry of Justice, the Agency for Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption, the Communications Regulatory Agency, the BiH Central Election Commission, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and the Office for Audit of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina took part in the project.
