“Between perception and institutional response: Facing corruption through laws and practice” – Conference on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day

Sarajevo, December 9, 2023Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH), with the financial support of Sweden, is organizing a conference on the occasion of marking the International Anti-Corruption Day entitled “Between perception and institutional response: Facing corruption through laws and practice”, which will be held on December 11, 2023 in Sarajevo, Swissotel, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The conference will present the findings of the latest survey of public opinion on corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which contains the view and opinion of BiH citizens on the state of corruption in BiH, as well as key activities and challenges related to the improvement of the fight against corruption in BiH, with a special focus on the legal framework, prosecuting corruption and enforcing anti-corruption laws.

The conference will be attended by representatives of relevant institutions from all levels of government in BiH, institutions and bodies in charge of the fight against corruption, representatives of international institutions in BiH, as well as civil society organizations and the media.

The conference will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at the Swissotel Hotel in Sarajevo, starting at 10:00 a.m.
