Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) will hold a press conference on 17. December at 11:00 am at the Hotel Europe in Sarajevo (Atrium Hall), where the first register of public office holders will be presented.
The register includes data on 763 elected officials at the state, entity and cantonal levels.
The aim of the register is to acquaint the public with data on how many public officials in BiH currently hold two or more functions in the public sector, in order to monitor their activities and identify potential cases of conflict of interest.
The mentioned activities of TI BiH are implemented within the project “Support to Citizens in the Fight against Corruption” in cooperation with partner organizations Centers for Civil Initiatives (CCI) and the Center for Media Development and Analysis (CRMA). Financial support for the project was provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
