TI BiH ORGANIZES ROUND TABLE “REAL OWNERSHIP IN BiH (BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP) – LEGAL FRAMEWORK AND IMPLEMENTATION”

Sarajevo, 02. March 2022 years – Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH) on Thursday 3. March, organizes a round table entitled “Real Property in BiH – Legal Framework and Implementation”. This event will be an opportunity to open a discussion on the current state of transparency of information on real ownership of legal entities in BiH, because the issue of regulating real ownership in accordance with international standards is one of the key elements in fighting corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing.
The conference will present an analysis of the legal framework and the current situation in BiH with a comparative analysis of the situation in the countries of the region and the European Union.
The panelists at the round table will be representatives of relevant institutions and bodies in charge of fighting corruption, representatives of international institutions, civil society organizations and the media in BiH.
The round table will be held on Thursday, 3. March 2022 year, at the Holiday Hotel in Sarajevo, starting at 10 am.
