TI BiH is organizing the promotion of the documentary film about corruption in employment procedures

Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) is organizing the promotion of the documentary film „La La Land“ by the author Dalibor Miljevic, which was made in cooperation with TI BiH, and produced by the same.

This documentary presents experiences of an unemployed agricultural engineer, who is trying to find a job in his field of expertise, showing the examples of the abuses and corruption he was faced with while trying to get a job or volunteer in institutions that deal with agriculture. The film also shows all deficiencies of the recruitment procedures, and the ways in which the flaws of legal framework enable discrimination and employment of eligible, and not skilled personnel.
The film „La La Land“ was made as a result of the cooperation between TI BiH and the author of the film, Dalibor Miljevic, to whom TI BiH provided legal assistance in the previous period. The film was financially supported by the National Endowment for Democracy and Civil Rights Defenders.
Film promotion and projection will be held on Friday, 20th May 2016 at 14.00h in Banja Luka at the Music Pavilion Staklenac. Prior to the film projection the attendees will be addressed by the representatives of TI BiH and the film author.
