TI BiH organizes conference: “Two years later: Commission’s opinion on BiH’s application for EU membership”

Sarajevo, 27 May 2021 – On the occasion of the second anniversary of the publication of the European Commission’s Opinion on the application for EU membership and 14 priorities to be met by Bosnia and Herzegovina, Transparency International in BiH is organizing a conference entitled “Two Years Later: Commission Opinion on BiH’s Application for EU Membership”. The conference will be held May 28 at the Holiday Hotel in Sarajevo.

The conference will present an overview of what has been done in the past two years, and will discuss the causes of BiH’s lack of progress on the European path, next steps, challenges and lessons learned when it comes to meeting priorities.

The participants of the conference will be addressed, among others, by the Ambassador of Sweden to BiH Johanna Strömquist, Krassimir Nikolov, Head of the Section for European Integration, Political and Economic Affairs, EU Delegation to BiH and Edin Dilberović, Director of the Directorate for European Integration.
