TI BiH is organizing a conference on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day

Sarajevo, December 8, 2021 – On the occasion of 9. On December 9, the International Anti-Corruption Day, Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) is organizing a conference entitled “Reform Challenges in the Fight against Corruption in BiH”, which will be held on Thursday 9. 12. 2021. in Sarajevo at the Hotel Europe, starting at 09:00.

At the conference, TI BiH will present a new website acmonitor.ti-bih.org, which provides an overview of the effectiveness of key anti-corruption laws in the areas of public procurement, political party financing, conflicts of interest, judicial integrity, freedom of access to information and protection of whistleblowers. In addition to the above, the current possibilities of improving the existing legal solutions with the aim of building institutional integrity as one of the basic preconditions for the fight against corruption will be discussed.

The conference will be attended by Swedish Ambassador to BiH Johanna Strömquist, US Ambassador to BiH Eric Nelson, MPs Branislav Borenović and Nikola Lovrinović, BiH Deputy Justice Minister Nezir Pivić, and other representatives of relevant institutions in charge of fighting corruption. representatives of international institutions in BiH, as well as civil society organizations.
