TI BiH collects applications for the second Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics

Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH) is organizing TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics within which the attendees from four BiH cities (Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Banjaluka) will have the opportunity to learn more about the practical skills in leadership and the role of women in politics, with a particular focus on the importance of transparency and integrity in politics.

Sarajevo, 4th October 2016 — Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH) is organizing TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics within which the attendees from four BiH cities (Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Banjaluka) will have the opportunity to learn more about the practical skills in leadership and the role of women in politics, with a particular focus on the importance of transparency and integrity in politics.
The first Academy in Mostar has been already held, while the following are planned to be organized in Sarajevo (13th and 14th October), Tuzla (27th and 28th October) and Banjaluka (3rd and 4th November). The Academy will be the opportunity for TI BiH to make the selected topics closer to the attendees through the two-day expert lectures and workshops, providing an insight into the latest theoretical achievements and case studies.
Lecturers at this year’s Academy are the experienced and recognized experts in their fields of action: Tanja Topic, Edita Miftari and Srdjan Blagovcanin.
TI BiH invites all interested women in the age of 18-28 to apply via email tibihakademija@ti-bih.org, while all additional information can be found on the website www.ti-bih.org. Application deadline for the Academy in Sarajevo i 10th October 2016, 25th October for the Academy in Tuzla and 1st November for the Academy in Banjaluka.
