Sarajevo, December 5, 2022 – Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH) in cooperation with Balkan Investigative Reporting Network BiH (BIRN BiH) on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 . organizes a conference “Transparency of the Judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, which will be held at Hotel Evropa in Sarajevo, starting at 11:00 a.m.
At the conference, the results of research on the transparency of courts and prosecutor’s offices based on the methodology developed within the project “Improving accountability through strengthening civil society networks – SANCUS” will be presented. This event will be an opportunity to open a discussion on the current practice when it comes to the transparency of judicial institutions, to identify key problems and possible solutions to improve the current situation.
Participants in the conference will be representatives of judicial institutions from all levels in BiH, representatives of the international community and international institutions in BiH, civil society organizations and the media.
The conference is organized with the financial support of the European Union.
