TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics starts in Mostar

Political women activists from four cities (Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Banja Luka) will be given an opportunity to learn more about the practical skills in the field of leadership and role of women in BH politics, with a particular focus on issues regarding the importance of transparency and integrity in politics

Banja Luka, 21st September 2016 – TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics starts tomorrow in Mostar, and it will deal with the following issues: role of women in politics, role of integrity and transparency in politics and leadership and politics.
Political activists from four BiH cities (Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Banjaluka) will be given an opportunity to learn more about the practical skills in the filed of leadership and role of women in BH politics, with a particular focus on issues regarding the importance of transparency and integrity in politics. The Academy in Mostar is the first in a row of total four that will be organized within a project supported by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives. The lecturers are experienced and recognized experts in their fields: Tanja Topic, Edita Miftari and Srdjan Blagovcanin.
TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics will start at 9.00h in the premises of OKC Abrasevic in Mostar, and the attendees will be welcomed by Aleksandra Martinovic, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Transparency International BiH.
