Political women activists will have the opportunity to learn more about the practical skills in the field of leadership and role of women in BH politics, with a particular focus on issues regarding the importance of transparency and integrity in politics
Sarajevo, 12th October 2016 – Second TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics starts tomorrow in Sarajevo, and it will deal with the following issues: role of women in politics, role of integrity and transparency in politics and leadership and politics.
After the Academy held in Mostar, the political women activists from Sarajevo will be given the opportunity to learn more about the practical skills in the field of leadership and role of women in BH politics, with a particular focus on issues regarding the importance of transparency and integrity in politics. The Academy in Sarajevo is the second of total four (Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Banja Luka) that will be organized by Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from September to November 2016.
The lecturers at this year’s Academy are experienced and recognized experts in their fields of action: Tanja Topic, Edita Miftari and Srdjan Blagovcanin. Special lecture about the leadership will be given by Boris Divjak, founder and member of the Board of Directors of TI BiH.
TI BiH Academy for Women Empowerment in Politics in Sarajevo will be held on 13th and 14th October 2016, and it shall start on 13th October at 10.00h at the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo. The attendees will be welcomed by Aleksandra Martinovic, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Transparency International BiH.
