Gender and Corruption in Failed Democracies – A Case Study of BiH Gender and Corruption in Failed Democracies

27 May 2020

Transparency International BIH introduces this flagship publication which analyzes the link between gender and corruption.

Partially based on a general population survey as well as the Advocacy and Legal Advice Center’s (ALAC) database of applied corruption, the study reveals differences among women, men and corruption.

It also covers popular views of power holders fighting corruption from a gender perspective. Yet its key section is a thorough assessment of the victims of corruption and how this affects women vs. men.

Finally, the book provides some policy recommendations that link the human and especially women’s rights to the anti-corruption agenda.
