PUBLIC INVITATION FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR A LEADING EXPERT FOR THE PREPARATION OF MONITORING REPORTS ON CORRUPTION PROCESSING

Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH) is implementing the project “Monitoring of Corruption Prosecution and Provision of Legal Aid”, with the support of the Government of the Kingdom of Norway. As part of the TI BiH project, it monitors trials in corruption cases on a representative sample throughout BiH, and a second monitoring report on monitoring trials in corruption cases will be prepared.

The hired expert is expected to:

• Participates in designing the structure of the report, the method of data collection and processing of submitted data;
• Supervises the work of the junior expert in preparing the report;
• Prepare an analytical report according to the established structure in cooperation with the junior expert;
• Presents the monitoring report at the public event / s in agreement with TI BiH.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Graduated from the Faculty of Law (completed the first cycle of undergraduate studies, which was evaluated with at least 240 ECTS credits)
• Analytical skills and excellent knowledge of public policies in the fight against corruption, as well as reform processes in the judiciary in BiH;
• At least five years of relevant legal experience in the field of criminal law (writing and publishing analyzes, reports, studies, professional papers, etc.)

The deadline for the preparation of the second monitoring report for which the expert is hired is 24. September 2021 .

TI BiH is not obliged to return the submitted contributions (CV, list of papers or the papers themselves) to interested candidates. TI BiH reserves the right to close the public call without selecting an expert for the requested service if none of the candidates meets the required conditions. TI BiH will invite and inform only the selected expert about the selection made .
