Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the regional project “WB Reform and Growth Monitor“, implemented in cooperation with partners from the Think for Europe Network (TEN), invites all interested civil society organizations, chambers of commerce, social partners, the academic community, and other non-governmental actors in Bosnia and Herzegovina to apply for participation in the Consultative Forum on the Implementation of the Reform Agenda in Bosnia and Herzegovina (CONFRA BiH).

What is CONFRA BiH?

CONFRA BiH is a national platform for structured, inclusive, and evidence-based dialogue between public institutions, civil society organizations, chambers of commerce, social partners, the academic community, and other actors on the implementation and monitoring of the Reform Agenda of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.

The platform is coordinated by Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Who can join?

CONFRA BiH is open to all non-governmental actors who have experience or interest in the Growth Plan, the Reform Agenda, or EU integration processes. This includes civil society organizations, the academic community, chambers of commerce, social partners, and other relevant actors. Members are expected to participate constructively and respect the principles of inclusive, transparent, and evidence-based dialogue.

Why join CONFRA BiH?

CONFRA BiH provides a space for constructive engagement and cooperation with public authorities, enabling members to contribute to the monitoring and discussions on reforms, and to influence the national implementation of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans. Specifically, the platform will:

  • enable consultations based on data and insights from monitoring, including tracking tools;
  • foster cooperation between the governmental and non-governmental sectors;
  • offer opportunities for capacity building and advocacy support;
  • promote transparency and accountability through the publication of meeting reports and feedback from participating actors.

Next steps

Upon completion of the application process, Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina will organize the inaugural session of CONFRA BiH, at which the Reform Agenda, the institutional framework for its implementation (if established by then), and the plan for monitoring and reporting will be publicly presented for the first time. CONFRA BiH meetings will be held twice a year in a hybrid format, and forum members will be offered consultative sessions, capacity-building activities, and the possibility of small grant awards within the project.
