PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Legal Aid Associate
Place of work: Banja Luka
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- provides legal assistance to the parties under the supervision and coordination of the coordinator and head of the Legal Aid Center;
- performs tasks of recording and reporting on legal aid cases according to the system and manner;
- reporting determined by the head of the Center;
- independently conducts research in which the Center participates;
- participates as needed in other research and projects conducted by the organization;
- prepares data for reporting on legal aid cases;
- prepares project reports and other reports for the needs of the Center according to the system and method of reporting determined by the head of the Center and / or the donor;
- participates in the design and development of the Center;
- monitors legislative activities related to the work of the Association;
- performs other tasks ordered by the head of the Center;
- is responsible for his work to the Head of the Center.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
– That he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
– That he is older than 18 years;
– No criminal proceedings should be instituted against him;
– That he has not been convicted of a crime.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
– University degree – graduated from the Faculty of Law (VII degree or the first cycle of studies which is evaluated with at least 240 ECTS credits);
– one year of work experience in the required level of education;
– desirable work experience in the non-governmental sector;
– advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
– knowledge of English;
– excellent communication and organizational skills;
– ability to work in a team.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:
– statement given before the competent body that no criminal proceedings have been instituted against the candidate and that he has not been convicted of a criminal offense (only the selected candidate will be obliged to submit certificates issued by the competent authorities as proof that he has not been convicted and is not being tried);
– certified copy of diploma (nostrified diploma, if the faculty is not completed in BiH);
– certificate or attestation as proof of work experience in the required level of education (certificate should contain the type of education provided for a specific job, job title and job description, specified period of employment, and other relevant data for proving work experience in the required level) education);
The ad remains open until March 15, 2022. Interested candidates can submit applications with a biography and the necessary documentation (by mail or directly) to the address: Gajeva 2, 78000 Banja Luka. The Association reserves the right to invite only shortlisted candidates for an interview. The highest ranked candidates will be invited for an interview no later than 14 days from the end of the competition. Transparency International BiH reserves all rights when selecting candidates and is not obliged to comment on applications received that do not meet the competition criteria. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.
