PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR RECEPTION

A law graduate

Position: Senior Legal Aid Associate

Place of work: Banja Luka

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Legal Aid Associate performs the following tasks:

  • Collects and analyzes documentation and relevant information and facts related to cases handled by TI BiH within the Legal Aid Center;
  • Acts independently on the cases of the Legal Aid Center;
  • Coordinates activities and programs between the Legal Aid Center and other departments of the Association;
  • Analyzes and provides legal opinions on the legislative and institutional framework in the areas in which TI BiH operates;
  • Communicates with institutions and coordinates with institutions within planned advocacy activities;
  • Independently performs professional tasks of providing legal assistance to clients;
  • Organizes and participates in meetings with relevant domestic and international actors;
  • Represents the work of the Center at conferences, conferences and the public;
  • Monitors and analyzes legislative activities related to the work of the Association;
  • Independently conducts research and participates in conducting research conducted by TI BiH;
  • Creates analyzes, policies and advocacy activities within the Legal Aid Center;
  • Participates in the design of activities and development of the Center for Legal Aid;
  • Reports on the activities of the Center;
  • Maintains relations with institutions and other organizations related to activities related to the provision of legal aid.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  • That he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
  • That he is over 18 years of age;
  • No criminal proceedings should be instituted against the candidate;
  • That the candidate has not been convicted of committing criminal offenses.

 

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

  • Bachelor of Laws, (VII degree or first cycle of studies evaluated with at least 240 ECTS credits);
  • Three years of work experience in the required level of education;
  • Desirable work experience in the NGO sector;
  • Knowledge of English in speech and writing;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Developed communication skills;
  • Responsibility and self-initiative in work;
  • Ability to work in a team.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:

  • statement given before the competent body that no criminal proceedings have been instituted against the candidate and that he has not been convicted of committing a criminal offense (only the selected candidate will be obliged to submit certificates issued by the competent authorities as proof that he has not been convicted and not prosecuted);
  • certified copy of diploma (nostrified diploma, if the faculty is not completed in BiH);
  • proof of the type of work experience in the required level of education, which contains the type of education provided for a specific job, job title and job description, period of employment, and other relevant data to prove the required type of work experience.

 

The ad remains open until 15.03.2022. years. The beginning of work engagement is scheduled for April 1, 2022. . Interested candidates can submit applications with a biography and the necessary documentation (by mail or directly) to the address: Gajeva 2, 78000 Banja Luka .

The association reserves the right to invite only shortlisted candidates for an interview. The highest ranked candidates will be invited for an interview no later than 14 days from the end of the competition. Transparency International in BiH reserves all rights when selecting candidates and is not obliged to comment on applications received that do not meet the competition criteria. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.
