Press conference of civil society organizations in front of the Ombudsman due to police repression

The undersigned civil society organizations condemn the new act of repression against members of the “Justice for David” group and representatives of the “Justice Movement” political organization, who were deprived of their liberty yesterday.Banja Luka, 8. July 2020 – The undersigned civil society organizations condemn the new act of repression against members of the group “Justice for David” and representatives of the political organization “Justice Movement” who were deprived of liberty yesterday.
Today, July 8, starting at 3 pm , we will gather in front of the headquarters of the Institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman in Banja Luka (Academician Jovan Surutka 13) and express our protest against the continuous repression of citizens demanding justice in the David Dragicevic case.
We invite the representatives of the Ombudsman Institution to join us and condemn the police repression together with us, and give a statement to the media about this case, which indicates gross violations of basic human rights.
