TI BiH organizes presentation of the Monitoring Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy

TI BiH will present the data on the efficiency of institutions at all levels related to the implementation of measures proposed by the Anti-Corruption Strategy

Sarajevo 9th December 2017 – Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) organizes a presentation for the media at which it will present the findings of the Monitoring Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy 2015-2019.

TI BiH will use this opportunity to present the data on efficiency of institutions at all levels in regard to the implementation of measures and activities provided by the Strategy and Action Plan during the first two years of Strategy implementation.

Presentation for the media will be held on Monday, 11th December 2017, at 11.00h, at the Hotel Europe in Sarajevo.

Who and how abuses tenders?

The team of monitors of the Open Society Fund BiH, Development Agency Eda Banja Luka, Transparency International BiH, Center for Investigative Journalism BiH and UG “Tender” Banja Luka, in the period April-September 2017. monitored public procurement of 173 contracting authorities throughout BiH. The monitoring covered 1566 public procurement procedures worth over 500 million KM. The contracting authorities are divided into 16 levels, which ensured that the monitoring process included all levels of government in BiH. (more…)

The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH continues to limit the monitoring over the way in which judges and prosecutors acquire their assets

INTEGRITY OF CONTRACTING AUTHORITIES IN BiH IS PUBLIC PROCUREMENT IN BiH REALLY PUBLIC?

A monitoring team of Transparency International BiH conducted monitoring of 173 contracting authorities by monitoring 1566 public procurements in the period April-September 2017. The contracting authorities were divided into 16 levels which allowed the process to encompass all government levels in BiH.

Company owned by Zoran Injac concluded a contract with the RS Roads, public enterprise in which Injac is employed

Besides the RS Airports, which awarded a procurement contract to the company owned by Zoran Injac, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the RS Airports, the public enterprise Roads of the Republic of Srpska, in which Zoran Injac is employed, also awarded a contract to the same company. It is particularly interesting that Zoran Injac was listed in tender documentation related to this procurement as the contact person on behalf of the RS Roads. (more…)

IDDEEA’s proposal not in compliance with the EU regulations and jeopardizes the public procurement system
