In Mostar, an Exhibition of the “Most Creative” Responses of Public Institutions When Avoiding to Provide Information of Public Interest

Sarajevo, October 2, 2022 – As part of activities dedicated to marking September 28, the International Day for Universal Access to Information, Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH) organizes a public exhibition of the “most creative” responses of public institutions denying access to information of public importance.

In the last 20 years, TI BiH has been monitoring the work of public institutions and conducting regular research on the application of the Law on Freedom of Access to Information, which shows negative trends at all levels of government in BiH. Therefore, the goal of the exhibition is to raise awareness of the importance of transparency in the work of institutions, and to encourage citizens to seek information that is of public interest.

The exhibition will be set up in Mostar in St Nikole Šubića Zrinskog from October 3rd to October 7th, 2022. Statements for the media are planned on Monday, October 3, 2022 starting at 10:00 a.m. in St Nikole Šubića Zrinskog.
