Conference: “Prevention of corruption in the health sector – presentation of good practices”
(TI BiH) and the Centers for Civil Initiatives (CCI) are organizing the final Conference "Prevention of Corruption in the Health Sector - Presentation of Good Practices" within the project "Cure Health" which will be held in Sarajevo 31. May 2022 (Tuesday), at the Holiday Hotel in Sarajevo, starting at 11 am.

Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) and the Centers for Civil Initiatives (CCI) are organizing the final Conference “Prevention of Corruption in the Health Sector – Presentation of Good Practices” within the project “Cure Health” funded by the European Union. The conference will be held in Sarajevo on May 31, 2022 (Tuesday), at the Holiday Hotel in Sarajevo , starting at 11 am .
The conference will present the key results of the project resulting from cooperation with 15 health institutions to improve internal acts with special emphasis on public procurement, human resources management, public finance, conflicts of interest and waiting lists, all in order to build an efficient system. fight against corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to the above, the conference will be dedicated to the presentation of good practices and opportunities that other health care institutions can implement in order to more successfully build anti-corruption mechanisms and policies.
Statements for the media are planned between 11:00 and 11:15. The media will be addressed by:
- representative of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH
- representative of Transparency International in BiH
- representative of the Centers for Civil Initiatives
- representative of the Cantonal Hospital Zenica
The European Union-funded project “Cure Health” worth 490,000 euros seeks to contribute to reducing corruption in the health sector in BiH through the involvement of CSOs in policy formulation, decision-making and supporting public health institutions in providing better and more efficient health services to citizens . The goal will be achieved by improving the transparency, accountability and integrity of 15 health care institutions in BiH by providing systemic solutions in key areas of risk for corruption.
