Sarajevo, 24th January 2017 – Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) is organizing a press conference in order to present Corruption Perception Index (CPI) for 2016.
Every year Transparency International publishes Corruption Perception Index, which is used to measure the perceived level of corruption in public sector. This year CPI covered 176 countries worldwide, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.
CPI presents one of the world’s most relevant studies of this type, since it enables progress monitoring and mutual comparison between the countries worldwide. Based on the relevant international resources, CPI assigns ratings on a scale of 0 to 100, where 0 represents the highest level of the perceived corruption and 100 the lowest level of corruption.
Presentation for the press will be held on Wednesday, 25th January 2017, at the Hotel Marriot Courtyard in Sarajevo, at 9.00h.
The press representatives will be addressed by Srdjan Blagovcanin, the Chairman of TI BiH Board of Directors and Ivana Korajlic, program manager for the public relations.
