Transparency International in BiH, as a member of the BiH Civil Society Initiative for UPR (Universal Periodic Review), has contributed to the elaboration of recommendations that fall within its field of expertise. The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) is a unique process that includes a review of human rights data from all UN member states. The UPR is a process led exclusively by UN member states and sponsored by the UN Human Rights Council, and gives each state the opportunity to state what actions it has taken to improve the human rights situation and meet its obligations.
