Support for the adoption and implementation of integrity plans at BiH universities
The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the adoption/implementation of the integrity plans through strengthening capacity of students and university staff.
The specific objectives of the project are:
– Strengthening the willingness of universities to accelerate the adoption process through the pressure of student associations
– Awareness-raising of students and university staff on measures and proposed integrity plans of universities
– Strengthening the capacity of students in the area of corruption prevention advocacy through training and workshops -‘’ training of trainers’’
– More active involvement of students in decision-making process related to the prevention of corruption in universities
The project consists of the following stages/segments, mutually complemented and overlapped.
- Establishing collaboration with student associations at universities in Mostar, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Zenica, and Tuzla.
- Educating through training the representatives of the student organizations about the fight against corruption, especially in higher education, and possible prevention of corruption through their work in the universities.
- Advocacy for the adoption of the integrity plans and their promotion on universities by the student organizations and TI BiH – meetings, distribution of information materials, students taking initiative in adoption of the plans, forums for students, manual for students.
- Workshops/roundtables on the integrity plans and their adoption/implementation for staff and management of the universities.
- Consultation meeting with students involved in the project with the aim of analyzing the results and plans for further activities.
