Wake up campaign

The project titled “Time to Wake Up Bosnia and Herzegovina” aims to increase the number of people and organizations involved in stopping corruption and promoting transparency, accountability and good governance along with integrity, as well as supporting them significantly in their work against corruption in BiH.

Time to Wake Up is a global anti-corruption campaigned, implemented by Transparency International chapters across the globe, and TI BiH is implementing the same campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina, recognizing the need to motivate and empower people to stand up to corruption.

Particularly, emphasis of the campaign “Time to Wake Up Bosnia and Herzegovina” is laid on providing people with the structures and tools for their engagement. Furthermore, another key objective of the proposed project is to inspire and work with greater number of people in BIH and to inspire the BiH society to reject corruption as a major social, economic and political wrongdoing that infringes upon people’s basic human rights.

The campaign points out to the devastating consequences of corruption in different sectors, including health, education, judiciary, elections, government, etc.

The campaign will consist of the following activities which will be implemented over three months: airing of videos; web banners, photo widgets, Facebook promotion, promotion through news portals, media partnerships, running video competition for citizens, organization of street events to engage citizens across BiH.
