Strengthening control over public funding

Project activities: TI BiH will identify companies to monitor, provide insight into their procurement practices, map political influences on the companies, and identify strategies designed to produce financial gains for political parties, particularly ahead of elections. The organization will use the findings to conduct a multimedia advocacy and outreach campaign, and develop a user- friendly, public web platform.

With the assistance of an IT company, TI will develop an online web platform to improve public access to the information gathered through the project. The organization will ensure the integration of its existing database on state-owned enterprises’ public procurement contracts into the new web platform. Following the platform’s launch, TI will organize a series of presentations for the media and relevant institutions’ representatives to educate them on how to best utilize the platform’s features.
