Civic Engagement for Reform: Ensuring Effective Monitoring and Implementation of the Growth Plan Reform Agenda

Project description

The overall goal of the project is to enhance civil society actors’ contribution to the quality of implementation and monitoring of reforms in the EU integration process of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project aims to:

• Foster collaboration between institutional and civil society actors in BiH for transparent and inclusive monitoring of the BiH Reform Agenda, as part of the Reform and Growth Plan (RGF);
• To enhance the capacity of civil society actors (CSOs, Media, Academia) for effective collaboration in monitoring and implementation of the RGF, ensuring quality legislative and institutional solutions in the reform process;
• To raise public awareness of the measures and progress in the implementation of the RGF reform agenda.

Expected results of the project are as follows:

• Developed monitoring and reporting approach for independent civil society monitoring of implementation of the BiH Reform Agenda
• Initiatives submitted to BiH institutions (focusing on implementation of specific Reform Agenda measures and enhancing monitoring mechanisms)
• Increased knowledge and strengthened capacities of CS actors to advocate and impact the implementation and monitoring of RGF Reform Agenda
• Ensure regular objective civil society reporting on the implementation of the BiH Reform Agenda (with focus on Fundamentals)
• Public informed on reform process through regular communication materials (such as press rls, information campaign, articles, etc) on the Reform Agenda content and implementation
