Whistle Blowing

Whistling is the act of sounding the alarm, i.e. reporting or detecting negligence, irregularities, abuse or corruption in the activities of an organization, government authority or company (or any of its business partners) that pose a threat to the public interest, integrity or reputation.

A person pointing out or “whistling”, known as a “whistleblower”, may be an employee, director, or other outside person who has insight into problematic behavior or activities.
