Seminar on investigative journalism: «Accountability of public officials – conflict of interest and free access to information»

As one of the activities under the «Accountability Programme in the Western Balkans» Transparency International BiH organised on 23 – 25 April, 2004 in Neum, training on investigative journalism: «Accountability of public officials – conflict of interest and free access to information».

Aims of the seminar were: more active inclusion of journalists in continuous monitoring of governments work, further understanding of free access to information and conflict of interest concepts and better integration of legal frameworks in journalistic practice.

Journalists from BiH, Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro, representatives of BiH Election Commission, media adviser of Ombudsman of Federation of BiH and Transparency International representatives participated at the training.
