TI BiH will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton

Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, which will officially mark the cooperation regarding definition and implementation of the Anti-Corruption Action Plan of Zenica-Doboj Canton (2017-2019).

Sarajevo/Zenica, 27th February 2017 – Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, which will officially mark the cooperation regarding definition and implementation of the Anti-Corruption Action Plan of Zenica-Doboj Canton (2017-2019).
In addition to providing TI BiH assistance in the drafting of the Action Plan, the cooperation will be focused also on the implementation of the measures concerning the participation of the civil sector, with emphasis on the development of the strategic documents/guidelines for the anti-corruption fight in public institutions and local communities in Zenica-Doboj Canton.
The signing of the Memorandum will be held on Tuesday, 28th February at 11.00h in Zenica, in the premises of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton. The Memorandum will be signed by the Prime Minister of the Canton, Miralem Galijašević and the Executive Director of TI BiH, Lejla Ibranović, who will address the media on this occasion and share the information on the planned activities in the future period.
