Project purpose: To enable students from small communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to improve their knowledge of current topics related to the harmfulness of corruption and the importance of the rule of law, good governance, good governance and free access to information through modern learning methods through work with leading experts and practitioners.

Project goals:

Raise awareness and improve knowledge among students and young leaders on the rule of law, good governance practices, the impact of corruption on economic development and transparency and freedom of access to information, all through insight into the latest theoretical achievements and practical experiences on given topics.
Insight into new and useful knowledge to motivate students to be socially engaged.
Improve students’ analytical skills and understanding of the value of integrity and transparency

Project activities:

Planning and drafting a Curriculum on Good Governance Practices and Government Rights; The impact of corruption on economic development and Transparency and freedom of access to information;
Organization of four two-day Schools of Integrity in four cities (Travnik, Trebinje, Bijeljina, Bihać) on Good Governance and Rule of Law Practices, The Impact of Corruption on Economic Development and Transparency and Freedom of Access to Information;
Selection of the best student essays from all schools held;
Final workshop with the most engaged students in Banja Luka;
Publishing and promoting selected student essays.

Expected results:

Improved knowledge of future leaders in BiH on topics of special public interest that indicate the harmfulness of corruption and the importance of the rule of law and transparency;
Developed analytical skills, awareness of social engagement and civic responsibility among students throughout BiH;
Creating an informal network of future leaders in anti-corruption activities by introducing students to new knowledge and practical experiences.
